Hierbas Making

If you’ve been to Ibiza before, you will no doubt have been offered a chupito of Hierbas, usually given as an after-dinner aperitif. Hierbas (pronounced year-bas) literally means herbs in Spanish and the alcoholic version is made up of multiple herbs and botanicals that grow on Ibiza. And The Drink Workshop run workshops at various locations on Ibiza where you get to make your very own bottle of Hierbas to take home with you (or get drunk on – we won’t judge).

Benirras Sunset By Kayak

The iconic Benirrás beach is not only where Perry of Kevin and Perry fame, pooped in the sea, but is famous for the Sunday sunset drumming ritual which started back in August 1991 as an anti-war protest against the Gulf War in Iraq, becoming a huge, free, annual event, attracting thousands of hippies and peace-lovers from all over the World. Sadly, due to health & safety, it had to end. However, since then, a small group of drummers have continued to gather on the beach every Sunday to drum down the sunset, attracting huge crowds. And what better way to experience it but from the sea. In a kayak.
