Hola! Welcome To Your Boat Ibiza

Welcome to our new little corner of the interweb!  Thanks so much for stopping by.  It’s nice to (virtually) meet you.

For our very first blog, we thought we should probably introduce ourselves and share the story of how Your Boat Ibiza (YBI) came about as we’re sure you’re desperate to know.

It all started back in May 2015 with a f**k it moment outside Cafe Mambo which led to YBI husband and wife duo, Andy and Sal, selling the UK home they’d been renovating for 6 whole years to fund the purchase of an Ibizan apartment in March 2016 (the power of Bob Sinclar and overpriced beer should never be underestimated!).  Cue the start of a beautiful relationship with not only Ibiza but with their Tour Op Manager neighbour, Rich – the man who could get them in to literally any party going.  If Carlsberg did neighbours and all that!

Along with the parties (and subsequent poolside hangovers!), came the boat days exploring the stunning Ibiza coastline, ending with sunset swims and beers outside Mambo, inspiring the neighbourly brainchild that was to become Your Boat Ibiza.  There’s a theme here, right?  Ibiza + Beer + Mambo = Crazy-ass ideas!

So here we are, 3 years later, still friends, still madly in love with the white isle, and now joint owners of a boat (yeah, that really happened too but that’s a whooooooole other story!) and an Ibizan boat company.  And we couldn’t be more excited to be in the position to share Ibiza and its amazing coastline with as many peeps as possible.
